History of the WWBA The Washington Women's Baseball Association was founded in 2003 as an official non-profit association. Our goal is to provide women of all ages an opportunity to participate in the game of competitive regulation baseball. We also offer the opportunity to participate on a premier traveling team which represents the State of Washington at women's tournaments across the country.
Sara Jacobs, from Seattle's Garfield High School, is shown above in action on the mound. She is one of the league's youngest player at age 16, and is a starting pitcher for both the Seattle Westside Falcons WWBA league team and the Washington Stars select team which placed fifth in Nationals for 2005 in Florida.
